Our people are the heart of Stroma Building Control. Our surveyors bring together a wealth of knowledge working on building projects from small domestic schemes to multi-million pound commercial developments. They are backed by a dedicated administration and operations function with a commitment to building longstanding client relationships.

Meet our Team

Ian has a wealth of strategic leadership experience across the Stroma Group. He has spent more than a decade with the business, previously as Finance Director. Following the creation of Stroma Building Control, Ian became Commercial Director then appointed Managing Director in 2020.

Mark has a wide-range of experience working on small domestic works to complex commercial, industrial and public buildings. He has further developed his technical competence aimed at providing clients with a helpful and proactive service to ensure Building Regulation compliance.

Mark Ringshall

Director - North Region

Joel has over 10 years’ experience in the building industry. Having gained initial experience with two local authorities, Joel has brought his understanding of the Building Control function, qualifications and proactive approach to help build and grow the company.

Victoria is an experienced Administrator, leading our nationwide admin function to support clients throughout the project.

Stroma Academy

As Building Control Surveyors, we recognise that our role within the Built Environment is really important, keeping people safe in buildings. Our Stroma Academy is a dedicated development programme to train junior surveyors towards CABE chartership. The two-year programme combines theoretical knowledge of Building Regulations with practical, on-site experience alongside experienced surveyors.
