We are currently looking for a qualified Building Control Surveyor to cover Leatherhead and the surrounding areas for our Maidstone office. We offer hybrid working for this position, with the option to work from home, from our Maidstone office, or a combination of both.
You will need to provide a customer-focused building control plan checking and site inspection service for all our customers to help ensure projects meet the Building Regulations and associated guidance.
You will need:
• Membership of CABE, CIOB, RICS, or equivalent
• Conversant with relevant legislation, technical guidance, and the Construction Industry Council Code of Conduct
• Previous in-house or external building control experience
• Ability to manage a busy and mixed caseload of building control projects
• Knowledge and experience of working on large schemes, such as in high rise residential / mixed-use, student accommodation, and hotels
• The ability to provide a client-led service, from the early RIBA stages through to completion
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining our existing clients and fostering new relationships with prospective clients
• Current valid driving license
